"Snowfalls Are Now Just a Thing of the Past"

So said Great Britain's The Independent on March 20, 2000.

Quoting climate scientist Dr. David Viner, the article goes on to say,

Children just aren't going to know what snow is," he said.

The article goes on to quote a second climate scientist,

David Parker, at the Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction and Research in Berkshire, says ultimately, British children could have only virtual experience of snow. Via the internet, they might wonder at polar scenes - or eventually "feel" virtual cold.

This article, or parts of it, were reprinted across the United States. No more snow! No more White Christmases!

The original article was published on March 20, 2000. World temperatures were supposed to have continued warming in the fourteen years since. In spite of Big Climate's predictions and certainty regarding the same, earth's temperatures have not warmed -- in fact, there is plenty of cold and snow for everyone -- (remember the global warming 'researchers' ship stuck in the Antarctic ice last week?).

So, as you think about staying warm today, you might remember that Big Climate and official Genuine Climate Scientists™ a decade and a half ago was telling us we wouldn't need our winter coats by now.
