Blizzard Bulletin

An Additional Update
While 9 to 14" snowfalls are common as far west as the shaded pink counties, the area outlined in black is being particularly hard hit with blizzard conditions. Snow accumulations of as much as 16 inches combined with winds gusting as high as 35 mph have just about all roads closed including, including several interstate highways. In Indianapolis, and several counties in the northern half of Indiana, it is illegal to drive unless it is an emergency or to find shelter. Schools have been closed in numerous areas.

Regardless of whether you are planning to drive or fly, it is unlikely you will be able to travel in or out of the outlined area not only the rest of the night but also tomorrow morning.

Addition: Downtown Indianapolis, WTHR TV via Twitter. Keep in mind things are worse farther north.
