First Thunderstorms Developing in Kansas Flint Hills

UPDATE 4:57PM. Compare the image immediately below to the one from a half hour before. You can see thunderstorms starting to develop just southeast of St. Joseph along with the larger area of storms still over the northern Flint Hills.  Everything is moving northeast.
There I still think it is going to be after 6pm, at the earliest, before anything really severe could form. However, very severe storms possible after dark.

ORIGINAL POSTING:
Thunderstorms are developing southeast of Manhattan, where Kansas State is currently playing TCU. The stadium is about the location of the "h." This is the Topeka NWS radar at 4:24pm.

Because the storms look like they will move northeast, they are unlikely to affect the game. While thunderstorms are trying to form, it still looks like at least another couple of hours before anything really severe could develop.
