Our Hearts go out to those in the Path of the Storm

Once again, over the course of the past week the biggest news wasn't health care, politics or the economy- it was the weather!

From the snow storms that hit the east to the tornados that ripped through the south, our hearts go out to those in the path of these dangerous storms. Thankfully, NO ONE DIED thanks to the excellent warnings!

Let me just say, that Mike Smith is a dedicated professional with a heart for people and it is his greatest goal in life to prepare others for the conditions that Mother Nature throws at us. If you appreciated the coverage of the storms over the past week here on this blog, you will love reading Mike's booksWARNINGS: The True Story of How Science Tamed the Weather and When The Sirens Were Silent. WARNINGS is about some of the most massive storms of our lifetime and Sirens is about the deadly Joplin tornado. Mike uses his expertise and knowledge as a consulting meteorologist and a genuine atmospheric scientist to uncover the truth behind these major storms that touched so many lives.

Mike's mission in life it to help serve the public by keeping them safe and his preference is to do this before a storm hits and causes damage, however, not everyone is prepared when weather strikes. If you are interested on how to be better prepared the next time, Mike has valuable information that you can use to keep yourself and your loved ones safe at home, work and at school in both his books.
