Tornado Threat in Ozarks

The image is of the Storm Prediction Center's "Significant Tornado Index." What it shows is, given a strong thunderstorm, where tornadoes might occur. 

A value of "1" is worth watching and 2 or above means to pay attention if thunderstorms develop in your area. This map shows the index's value as of 3pm CDT. 

AccuWeather regional radar shows thunderstorms slowly continuing to build across the area, especially around (at 3:30pm) Stillwell and Cherry Tree, Oklahoma.
