Inside A Building As a Tornado Hits

Below is a photo of Joplin East Middle School after the tornado.

The photo was taken by Randy Turner whose blog is covering the tornado. The Joplin school district has released surveillance video from cameras inside the school as the tornado struck.

The best sequences are the main entrance and the outdoors. By the way, the odd-looking blue flashes are likely power flashes (which occur when the tornado causes powerlines to short circuit) and the "electricity" you see when the tornado hits are likely live electrical lines.
