As the one year anniversary of Climategate approaches, we learn that NASA is still stonewalling Freedom of Information Act requests. So, they are being sued (copy of the complaint here).
Science is supposed to be about disclosure and replication of results. Given the stonewalling from NASA in this and other cases, one can only wonder what it is they are trying to hide?
I sincerely hope the answer to my question is "nothing." But, if you have nothing to hide, why try to hide it? This is especially true when the data and information in question belongs to the U.S. taxpayers.
