More from Reuters. With the Thanksgiving travel season coming up, do you really want to put up with this?! If not, contact your elected representatives, the airlines, and your local police chief (the state laws against sexual assault are still on the books, why aren't they enforcing them?).

The story says Congress is going to hold hearings next week. The sooner you contact them, the more likely they are to put a stop to this.

The reason I have spent so much time on this topic is that the new procedures just went into effect (November 1) and the Thanksgiving travel period is imminent. According to published reports, Thanksgiving is the busiest air travel period. I don't want our readers stumbling into this unknowingly. Better still, lets hope Congress is successful next week and it is a non-issue by then.

    A government control issue, so many in the government have the notion they are are out keepers and can do as they please. There is a whole mindset out there that has serious control issues. This is but one example of the government controlling "Their Population."
    This one happens to be up close and personal and many will take issue. Look at the other laws that are passed to control the population.

    The proposed rules on the global warming is not so much about science as it is about controlling the population. Step back and look at it, the proposals are about control.

    Tax is a form of bondage, one becomes indebted to the government. At what level is there rebellion.

    The TSA issue is at that rebellion point because it is close and personal. Yet so are all the other laws that take away personal freedoms.

    As a society how many freedoms are we willing to give to the government in exchange for............?

    If the other laws and proposed laws were as personal as the TSA shake down, people would maybe take heed of what is going on in DC.

    In society there is a schism of control issues and many believe that they have the right to control others in some form or fashion. There are rulers, emperors, royalty, dictators and so on, each wants to control the population.

Dangerous Travel Conditions - People Reportedly Stranded

Power outages have occurred already in southeast California. Here is the latest radar as of 7:55am PDT. As of 6:40am PDT , the radar indicates moderate to heavy rain falling over desert areas of Southern California and far western Arizona (click to enlarge).  Rainfall amounts for the 24 hours ending at 7am PDT show more than two inches have already fallen. Update on Tornado and Wind Potential; 12 Noon PDT

There was at least one tornado and at least one funnel cloud yesterday.  --- original forecast --- Hilary (the swirly symbol) continues to move NNW paralleling the coast of Baja California, Mexico. The area outlined in red has a significant risk of tornadoe s the rest of the afternoon.  Below is a list of peak wind gusts so far.  Peak winds may increase farther north as the afternoon progresses.  Addition at 12 noon PDT: Sure enough, winds have increased.  Note: If you are in the San Diego area, I recommend not  traveling east on I-8. Heavy rains may cause flash flooding that will involve the highway.
